What adenomyosis is
Adenomyosis is when womb-lining tissue grows into the muscle of the womb wall, which can cause pain and heavy periods. It often sits alongside other conditions, so a clear personal record helps.
Why a record helps
Pain and heavy periods can be hard to describe from memory. A simple daily note lets you show how often and how much, rather than trying to remember a whole month.
What you can record in The Veda Circle
- Your pain each day
- How heavy your period felt: none, light, medium or heavy
- Everything alongside your cycle calendar, so patterns show up on their own
Taking it to your appointment

When to get help
Very heavy bleeding, pain that stops you doing everyday things, or feeling dizzy or faint are all worth raising with a doctor. If you feel very unwell, seek urgent care. If you are in danger or need urgent help, call your local emergency number: 112 in Malta and across the EU, or 999 in the UK.

Common questions
Is adenomyosis the same as endometriosis?
No, but they are related and can happen together. In adenomyosis the tissue grows into the muscle wall of the womb. Endometriosis is tissue similar to the womb lining growing elsewhere in the body. Read more about endometriosis.
Can an app diagnose adenomyosis?
No. Only a doctor can diagnose it. The Veda Circle helps you keep a clear record and prepare for your appointment.
Can I track other conditions too?
Yes. It covers 51 conditions across every stage of life, and you can add your own.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your entries are saved on your phone. We never receive them, so we cannot read, sell or share them.
