What menopause is
Menopause is usually defined as 12 months without a period. Symptoms such as hot flushes, poor sleep, low mood or vaginal dryness can carry on for years, and there are many ways to ease them.
Why a record helps
A record of how you feel day to day helps when you talk to a doctor about your options, including treatments such as HRT. It shows what is happening over weeks and months, rather than what you happen to remember on the day of the appointment.
What you can record in The Veda Circle
- Hot flushes or night sweats
- How you slept last night
- Your mood
- Anything else you want to remember, in your own words
- Your medications, if you want them in the same place
- A separate guide for vaginal and urinary symptoms of menopause (GSM), because these are rarely talked about
Taking it to your appointment

Common questions
When is it menopause?
Menopause is usually defined as 12 months without a period. The years before are called perimenopause, and the time after is often called postmenopause.
Can I record my HRT in The Veda Circle?
You can add your medications in the app and keep them alongside your symptoms. Choosing or changing treatment is always a conversation with your doctor.
Does The Veda Circle give medical advice?
No. It gives general information and tools so you can understand your body and prepare for appointments. It does not diagnose or treat anything.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your entries are saved on your phone. We never receive them, so we cannot read, sell or share them.
