What PMS is

PMS is the mix of physical and emotional changes that can show up in the days before a period. Mood swings, bloating, breast tenderness and low energy are all common, and it usually eases once bleeding starts.

PMS and PMDD

PMS is different from PMDD, which is more severe and disrupts daily life. Tracking how much your symptoms affect you gives a clinician a clearer picture of which one fits. Read more about PMDD.

Common questions

What is the difference between PMS and PMDD?

PMDD is a more severe condition that significantly disrupts daily life. PMS is more common and usually milder. Only a clinician can tell you which one fits.

How long should I track my PMS?

A couple of cycles usually shows a pattern. You do not have to wait before speaking to a doctor, though.

Can The Veda Circle diagnose PMS?

No. It helps you keep a clear record and prepare for your appointment. Diagnosis and treatment are for your doctor.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your entries are saved on your phone. We never receive them, so we cannot read, sell or share them.
