What anxiety is

Anxiety is worry or fear that is hard to switch off. It can show up in the mind, as racing thoughts, and in the body, as a tight chest, a fast heart or a churning stomach.

Anxiety and hormones

Many people notice anxiety changes before a period, in pregnancy, after birth and around perimenopause. A simple record of how it moves can help you and a clinician see your pattern.

What you can record in The Veda Circle

  • How anxious you felt today
  • How much it showed in your body
  • Whether the day felt harder because of where you are in your cycle or life stage
  • What helped, and anything else you want to remember
  • The GAD-7 questionnaire in Assessments, a short, recognised check you can bring to an appointment

Taking it to your appointment

The doctor-ready report is built from your own entries for the dates you choose. Share it, print it or save it as a PDF.

When to get help

Common questions

Can anxiety change with my cycle?

Many people notice it does, especially before a period. It can also change in pregnancy, after birth and around perimenopause.

What is the GAD-7?

It is a short, recognised questionnaire about anxiety. The app includes it so you can bring the result to an appointment. It is a check, not a diagnosis.

Can The Veda Circle diagnose anxiety?

No. It helps you keep a clear record and prepare for your appointment. Diagnosis and treatment are for your doctor.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your entries are saved on your phone. We never receive them, so we cannot read, sell or share them.
